i want describe the short story with the title "A good man is Hard to Find" in this story the character are Grandmother, Bailey, his wife "the mother" and their children John Wesley and June Star. all of them have the different characterization, the grandmother is a thin and proud old woman who lived with her son, Bailey is the good and obsidian's to her mother and follow the instruction of her and all his wife, his child take it.
the story tell about a family plan to take a trip to Florida and ended with a dreadful tragedy. as they rode through the native state, Georgia, the grandmother bored the family with her story about the state's scenery and good days in the south. the story became complicated as, on the way, she recalled about a house in an old plantation she had visited before. in exaggeration, she talked about the mysterious things about the hose which compelled the grandchildren to provoke their father turn back to see the house.
while waiting and hoping for a rescue, a car came a long with three men in it. the three men stopped by and voulentered to check the car. at the same time, the grandmother recalled one of the men's faces and uttered his identity aloud. he was the misfit that the newspaper informed as the escaped convict. realizing that his identity has been revealed.
i dislike the character done, because she only keeping her body without think the other.
the moral value from this short story is if we can be able to divert and cancel a journey to check the situation and condition first, to make sure it good or bad.
to connect this story with social value, i think we must be able to avoid some tragedy if we can understanding with the other and taking the ability respect with them to get in the other hand.
in culture we ability understanding with other who has the different costume, culture and religion,
and in the religion we must understanding the all citizen who has created by the god without differences one of them.
